Job Purpose

  • To assist Operations Team with projects

Key Tasks

  • To provide drawing and design support to the Operations Team
  • Work on projects ensuring designs are produced often within tight deadlines
  • To create a library in Auto CAD
  • To work with Management to improve and introduce new systems
  • Comply with Health and Safety legislation, Codes of Practice and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
  • Undertake any training as required
  • Undertake any other tasks that may be required

Key skills, knowledge and behaviours

  • Working towards or achieved related degree or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to operate AutoCAD design packages
  • Be capable in both 2D and 3D design work, Solid works an advantage
  • Genuine interest in all aspects of design and manufacture
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word
  • Good organisational skills coupled with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
  • Ability to work as part of a team and effectively communicate with staff
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety training
  • To represent Trans-Sport in a responsible manner being polite and courteous at all times therefore upholding our high standard of services
  • Ability to prioritise and have a flexible approach to working hours and tasks set
  • Can do attitude

You will:

  • Work both at our base in Treswell and around the world on location varying from Paradise Island in the Bahamas to Hyde Park in London and everywhere in between!
  • Work within a team of highly trained and skilled individuals who both follow detailed plans and are encouraged to take the initiative when necessary
  • Have excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, clients and our global network of local crew and industry contacts
  • Not necessarily have experience in the TV industry
  • Have a driving licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 desirable but not essential)
  • Need to comply with strict health and safety rules
  • Have experience or skills in any of the following:
  • Joinery
  • Electrical installations
  • Fabrication
  • Driving
  • Scaffolding
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Labouring
  • Work well under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Be flexible and enthusiastic
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Be approachable and presentable
  • Be offered exciting opportunities to broaden your skills
